It is back to school time again and the first day of classes for JISD students will be Monday, August 25, 2008.

 We know your time is valuable, so in an attempt to better serve you, JISD will be sending student’s pre-registration forms prior to our traditional registration day.  These are the same forms and information which are traditionally taken care of on “registration day” at the JISD cafeteria.

To expedite the process, fill out and sign the forms and return to any campus office prior to August 12 or to the cafeteria on August 12 from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.  August 12 is our “traditional registration day” at the JISD cafeteria.

Lunch tickets may be purchased August 12.  However, you may qualify for the free/reduced school meals program which is a federally funded program which provides low-cost or free lunches to children each school day.  Please review the application for 2008-2009 to determine if you qualify.  You need only complete and return one application for all students in your household.
