Bus Driver Certification Course
A 20-hour bus
certification course will be held in Junction July 14—17 from
1:00 p.m.—6:00 p.m.
each day in the middle school
library.

obtain certification to drive a school bus contact Cheryl Herring
before April 14th in order to
register.

A CDL is required but not necessarily prior to taking the bus certification course. You will have to take a driving and written test through the Texas
Department of Public Safety at some point in order to be licensed. Your bus certification comes from taking the above 20-hour course. These two things combined qualify you to operate a school bus.
